I've been using the Ezone and Rcflying forum for quite a while before using this forum. Unfortunately, I just discovered that the one of the moderator is not as professional. I posted a thread and got into a heated arguement, which is common among all forums. However, there were no abusive words flying across and this is what the forum is about. The above mentioned moderator is one of them. Whether he agrees to other points of view or not, as fas as moderating a thread concerned, there's no good reason to close the thread just because he feels strongly against me idea. This is getting totally personal.

From this incident, I deduced that this is more like a personal playground and if one doesn't click within the playgroup, you'll get kicked out by simply denied the right to talk. So people using this forum, beware of what you says or you'll get your thread closed for personal reasons, and don't get into the mess like me, if you want to stay in this forum.

Oh by the way, he closes another thread which is opened by someone else with the same topic.

Cool down, Singapore r/c flying community is so small but conflicts will still occur. let's just relax and hope the authority will loosen it's orders

Yeah dude... Cool down. There are not many aircraft RC flyer and RC forum in Singapore. Stay for a while and see how is it first. Don't let a small issue causing u to hate this forum.

Joe..I closed the thread because of the useless bantering happening....

I flew at MS that day for about 2 hours...I'll be there again today....if not tomorrow from 5.45pm till 7....most days I'ld be there...less I work...and I prefer you guys to come and talk face to face..rather than posting some finger pointing messages here....

Come...have coffee and talk like we should talk at the site....

It's funny because we're arguing over a piece of state land...it belongs to the govt...

I mentioned...if you want me to stop flying there....let's all leave the piece of land together....

I may sound selfish...but asking me to fly elsewhere is selfish as well....few of us nitro guys flying in MS has our reason for flying there...and MS seems to be safer and better to fly there...and I just felt strongly that no one should deprive anyone of flying there...especially if you have not spoken to me face to face before....

I made a point to know the EP guys,....I did drive over that day after flying....parked beside and was looking at one of the guys flying a multiplex...walked around a bit but no one said hello or anything or that sort....

The only thing I always spoke to you guys about is...'erm 40Mhz?'

I seriously think all of us deserve better....


Now...Joe...I mentioned..I closed the threads for a reason....I wanted the discussions filled with heli related topics...fun and interesting things for the guys here to read...and not some squabble over the rights to fly in MS.....Damn....what rights do WE have anyway?!

If you wanna talk....PM me...I'll give you my number and we can talk over the phone....other than that..I don't wish to see postnig of sorts here in the forum....I cannot express myself as good as I talk...most of s cannot too...so I'll refrain from hurting anyone with my words here....

Sorry to notice only this posting now. I hope you can give it some thot. The rc community is already so small, having to pull out of a particular forum is going to be a loss to newbie or others wanting to pickup / learn this hobby.

Guys here are wonderful and I give you the assurance it is not a personal playground Nobody owns this forum, ppl who love this hobby owns it. What if someone anger me one day and I remove this site, how many ppl going to curse and swear at me? I for sure will not do that.

I had to agree to closing the thread as it only contribute to never ending dispute.....happened in the previuos forum....end up members are the one who suffer......spend time reading those dispute. Btw, I am the one who close the latest thread, not Arthur.

I hope you can think twice and if theres a need to talk to me, u are always welcome.

Sorry guys. I think I've said too much. Thanks for all your attention anyway.

All I can say is that what is happening is exactly what did happened some years back and it took about 2 years after that before we started flying there again. My job here is just to let you guys know that the police are after nitros. I've done my part. The rest is up to you. To save myself from being though as an anti-nitro or anti-electric, I'm now taking another alternative of flying my scale gliders. And I don't see a topic here for sailplane yet. So, I'll be out for the benefit of everyone and you don't have to see me at MS as often as I did. Anyway, I'm trying to keep away from spending too much time on my PC and try to get my new gas plane ready for it's maiden.

I admit that I overlooked the point that the 2 site are within uncomfortable proximity while trying to find a new site. The incident happened before I posted the notice in the forum and is a totally different issue. The same night after flying there for the first time, I read the map and found out that mistake and did not go back there to fly anymore. You don't see me there on Sunday right?

I know it annoys some people and I sincerely apologize. Like what some of you guys, different people react differently. If the similar thing happen again, you can approach me personally and raise your concern just like what I did at MS. I'm adult enough to understand. I'm stupid enough that I can't understand car horn languages. I'm just sad that I'm not given the same treatment when similar things happen.

Well, the base line is; you guys continue to fly at MS with caution, I don't fly at Punggol grass field anymore.

sad to see the forum turn into a battle ground over the weekend now I recall why I go for indoor rc where I can hide in a small place to fly my 6" wing span plane without any concern of space and safety (AUW < 25g)

oh this is the type of plane that will not casue any concern. Any crash even on ppl will cause more damage on plane itself

You have notified me by PM and you have explained and informed me your freq/s, that was used at Punggol Sec Sch. Thank you. We should start caring more for each others presence and freq. This way, maybe achieve zero accidents due to interference from buddy flyers. Thanks Joe.

See what needs to be done, touched up, go charge up your tranx and flight batteries, replenish your nitro fuel, AND GO FLY! If you see each other at the flying site, just smile and say hello to one another, check frequency, be safe to yourself and to others around you and enjoy yourselves silly. I think Joe had given a very gentlman reply. Can see everybody is pleased with this ending All this unecessary arguement had been avoided if we respect each other be it right or wrong from the very begining. Hope this serve as one of the many lesson we guys had to go thru and learn in life.

Every crisis overcome smoothly make a person even a stronger person. Spend your time asif tomorrow is your last day in earth. Making frens with ppl you dislike is the most difficult but challenging and most beneficial things you ever do.
