Are you all telling me that you haven't got a Mini Inferno for yourselves yet? Why not? It's fun, it's cute, you can (apparently) hop it up till your nose bleeds, it's cheap(er).
Or maybe it's just me. :D

Me, I ripped out all the stickers, fake pipe n engine head. Used a black marker to outline the windows, put my trademark logo n name on the roof and tail. Tightened the slipper clutch almost all the way down. Adjusted the stock shocks to a more vertical configuration and fiddled with 0 toe-in for front and 2deg for rear. Jus got me an x-speed and clear body shell today. Alas, no sealed bearings and batt packs. At this point, I just feel like tricking the damn thing out! Can you say: brushless, oil shocks, aluminum parts and better ESC/servos? :D :D
Will post pix (once I find out how) when I get the bugger all hopped up. :)
God help me, I just saw the Kyosho Mini-Zs in action.... :lip: :lip: :lip: :love :love
Where can I get these guys besides at Tekka Mall? I want the Shelby Cobra!!!

Hmm. Kyosho half8 sealed bearings (4x8x3) are S$36 for 8. That's $16 more than I should spend.

go to rotor, they sell the cheapest BBs compared to all LHS. almost the same price as BB hardware shops even. Think like $2.50 per piece. Dun forget the 5% discount if you are a member!!
btw, where did you go to see the BBs? wants to go look at some hlaf8 parts

Saw it at Pacific. The shop at Tekka Mall has some parts, too. No BBs, tho. But both sides are running out. Not a whole of parts around.
I was at Rotor, but gave the wrong dimensions of the BB to them. They questioned the choice, and I got confused. So didn't buy. :P

I daily look at my Inferno wistfully and longingly. I'm wondering when Vroom will issue from it.

I think the latest Racer magazine do review the Inferno leh.

duh! I wasn't aware that the engine and pipe are dummies!
They look realistic... i mati mati thought its a gasser with the electric motor being the electric start. All these for $250 RTR is too good to be true at first i thought. Now I know! But $250 for a RTR from Kyosho is a very good price!
The mini inferno looks good... feel like getting on the bandwagon too :lip:

Mai tu liow! :L :L :L
But have to tell you something. On stock setup, it's painstakingly slow, really unbecoming of it's 777 heritage. :down Need an 8 cell pack and BBs (8 pcs for the wheels) to make respectable. Of course adding a BL will make it out of this world!
