    Nodding away

Hey guys... Did my first running in tank this evening.
Somehow.. at stock config (did nothing except glue the tires), my Tmaxx goes "nodding" away as I depress the throttle.. is this a normal response as the clutch bites in? (the front side of the vehicle goes up and down, as if the truck is doing kowtows....)

I still have 4 more tanks to go before completing the run-in process....

But is certainly enjoying the relax drive... No worries of crashing....
    huh

Normally the rear squats down, but since you're only on the 1st 2 tanks and doing 1/4 throttle.....could be clutch slip. I think there's nothing to worry about. Once you throttle up later..it should dissappear.
For some people it's important to show what they have, for others it's sufficient to know that they have it.

Thanks.. I actually see the front moving than the rear moving.

But unlike running in my Raptor, I can actually see the engine performance improves as I works its first tank... that make it so cool

And the little tank last so long...

It is definitely fun fun fun... No regrets getting this truck.
      huh

Err.....I think the tank won't last so long when you reach WOT.

BTW, once the glow plug goes kaput, the stock glow plug wire will most probably be laid to rest, unless you get stock Traxxas glow plugs. This is because the tip of this glow plug is smaller than OS plugs and the spring won't fit in.

if I am to use OS plugs... any work around? What OS plugs should I use? #8?
          huh

Yah..the EZ Start wire.....mine's tied to the rear now. Using my glow starter instead. Well, I look at the positive side, now the EZ Starter lasts longer.

Well, OS#8 is THE plug. Think cheapest from Winnie and Jet Hobby.

Thanks. I have a few spares OS8 for my raptor. nice to know I can also use it for my Tmaxx.
I am going to see if I can grind the tip smaller....
              huh

                  MadArmour... any good way to:
                  1) replace the batts with something that has a external charging cable? So that no need to unscrew everytime?
                  2) Ehh.. know how much fuel left when the body is on? Or is estimating using time the only method?
                  huh

                    1) If you are tokking about the Rx batt, here's wat you can do. Replace it with a 5 cell NiMh pack (6V). Replace on/off switch with one that has a charging jack. Just make sure the switch is the slim type, else it can't go into the box.

                    2) Wah.....this one very difficult to answer leh. I just play until it empties. Or you can lift up her skirt and take a peek?

Bro...I can see you have been out of touch in the nitro car scene. This 5-cell batt Rx pack will fit. Think it's made of 5 x 2/3A NiMh cells. Or you can use your Kans to make a DIY Rx pack.
