My First Tamiya Touring Car

Hi there, just came back from Japan few days ago with these item (less paint and motor). I brought it because I thought it was cheap. Full ball-bearing and kit at 7130 yen (about S$113). Other than that, all things are almost the same price as Singapore and it won't worth the effort to bring it back.

Now, I would like to check where can I meet up with players driving with this class ? I would also like to buy some battery for this car, what is the standard competition batt allow ? 7.2V 3300 mah or lower ?

BTW, is there a big different between TTL , TLT and etc ? Please advice. Thanks

I guess wat U have is Tamiya TT-01. There are a few model in Tamiya EP 1/10 scale car. There a TA0, TB, TT and etc. I believe the best is TAO4 which they use 2 belt, by far the best and the price is on a higher cat. TB-02 is not bad too, and the design is much better then the rest except TAO. Go get yourself a better motor a 12T will be enough for TT01.

I find that driving a GP and EP touring different. thats me at least. i have different way of handling the 2 different category of cars.

tank 1 - idle
tank 2 - bring to 1/4 throttle in 3 secs
tank 3 - bring to 1/2 throttle in 3 secs
tank 4 - bring to 1/2 throttle in 2 secs
tank 5 - bring to full throttle in 3 secs
tank 6 - bring to full throttle in 2 secs
Done!!!
