Hmmm just wondering how much would it help if a HH gyro is mounted on a RC car to help it maintain straight line runs... :D

maybe the car will not be able to turn? the gyro will be trying to keep the car as upright and straight as possible while you are trying to make the car turn which will change the CG. but did you notice that F1 cars do not have gyros on their F1s? so it may not help the peformance that much.
just throw in a digital servo in the steering .. no need gyro..

good idea! connect the gyro to your suspension system! then it would auto matically compesate for the loss of traction by adjusting the pneumatic suspension.

I believed GM racing came up with the ASP esc with a built in piezo gyro to help in-cornering throttle and steering control. It was so good that IFMAR outlawed it.
i have heard of such a gadet.... power!!!!!
