IPS motor on FEDA

Hi,
I would like to seek advice for whether the IPS motor (long tail motor) can be supported by FEDA stock mixer board?

i mean can i just replace the B2C tail motor with this long ips motor without any other mod? or must i run separate? I was told that i can get this motor from champion.

Heh.. His ST 1800mah lipo is like 50% larger than my Etec 1200!!
Imagine a Etec with 1 more battery cell...

Yaw, the mixerboard will handle the IPS with no problems. With the IPS you have two options on how to use it. You can either use it as a direct drive or as geared drive like the stock one.

After trying both, I'm leaning towards the geared IPS. You will need to get a Tamiya Mini 4WD center drive shaft and pull the pinion off the drive shaft and mount it on the IPS.

Uncle Joe was saying that Champion has IPS for $12! Thats real cheap. The packaging should be under GWS.

BTW how much is the ST1800 lipo batt?

Thank you very much, I'll go grab one soon.
I got the ST-model lipo from my dad's shop, visit his website at www.hobbytech.com.my Shop is located at KL. Price should be about RM120-130 each, flight time is good, and heli feel much powerful. Though its a bit heavier, but i think with more weight, not too heavy, flying feels nicer, more momentum or something like that.

Can almost do figure 8 like you did with your hornet, but not as perfect. Gosh, when it gets into the 'rail', its really fast and legs can really shake and sweat fuuh... the feeling is shiok rite? hehehe...

will try to film it one day. I'm practicing every night nowadays, like you guys once said, 'i am loving my feda more everyday...hehehehe'
