What is the trends and nice track for playing R/C car.

Hi there, just wondering what is the current trends for playing R/C car ? Is it 1/8 gas buggy or on-road racing ? Or 1/10 electric buggy ? I used to play but stop for a while. really wants to start playing again. Any ideas where can we play with nice track.

1/10 gas touring car -- sambangwang HPC track

1/8 gas lola speed freak -- PA camp site (east coast)

1/8 gas buggy -- turf city

1/10 EP touring.. BK at queen town

1/24 mini-z Ep -- sc speed racer shop.

by the way all track need membership

how much average 120 - 150 a year

Thanks fuse. Any ideas which wants held competition more often ? It is my dream to win in this kind of competition (although never win before) I used to play 1/10 buggies about 20 years ago and boon keng shop is where I always hang around. Any ideas which shops offer this kind of competition often ? Thanks.

Check with Hobby Link or Elite Racing(S'wan model)...i think they're pretty active with races....

For Hobby Link i think they're in to racing nitro buggies.

used to race 1/10 touring car but gave up as it was time comsuming, my brother is still racing the 1/8 lola class and i will look into 1/8 buggy racing this year if time permits.

else its weekend flying my ep glider or onces in a blue moon fly gas heli at JW site..


if you need any help just post here , many members came from rc car background and they would certainly assist you.

just a word of advise on racing.. have fun and dont aim for anything...results will come with practise ..


choose your weapon well in any class of racing..
if you have skill but using a parang.. then you are only half way there, but if you have a sword and 50% skill, you may make it ..winning races.


if you are alone, try electric race .. if you ahve a few friends, then try nitro as its the most stressful event..

A main racing can be as long as 45min to 60 mins of non stop driving and re fueling... its a team game.

for electric most of the time is 5 mins and its all over.

not good la, i'm just a novice in rc cars..and also planes and heli.

can drive around but cant race, plane can fly around but no 3d
heli can fly around but no 3d also...

that makes me a novice.
