Can give a rough estimation of price? So if I buy the transmitter, I have to change the rcvr & servo too?

It's all depend on the driver's skill. Any radio is good for drifting....You just need to practice on the throtle management and steering input to make the car to drift properly

I bought the higher freq 75Mhz. Not many people have that range. Pricing is dependable on her. For 20s & 40s Mhz, it's abt $250. For 70s Mhz, abt $270 but don't quote me on that. You can call her and ask. She's very nice.

Bro, if you order from Tower Hobbies the Futaba 3PM 2.4G,
its only US$189.99

minus US$20 promotional till end this month = US$169.99
Plus shipping cost to Singapore US$169.99 + US$50 = US$219.99
convert to Sing Dollar (x1.4) = S$308 only!

check this out!

BTW, the price you put was for Transmitter itself. Not whole set. Doesn't come with servos. I just want to play drifting so I guess the 3PM-75Mhz still works. Thanks anyway.

This is weird. I called and ask her for crystals for my KO and she say nowadays everyone using 2.4Ghz, crystals stop production and ask me to upgrade to Spektrum 2.4 :z

Everything lies towards personal preference. I would prefer having crystal radio rather than 2.4Ghz. Pricing was abt the same but since i've never touched Spektrum technology before. I would stick to what I know 1st. If next time I want to change, I learn more abt it lor.

I got problem charging the nicad..... how much to discharge?
Think my charger max is 2.5A due to the power adapter.
The charger also needs input for Voltage for discharge..... how many volts?
How much should I discharge?????
How long?

What you're asking dun make sense ! ??? :confuse:

1) Are you trying to charge or discharge your NiCd ?
2) 2.5A max WHAT ? ...charging current, discharging current or adapter output ? :confuse:
3) How much should you discharge WHAT ? :confuse:
4) How long to WHAT ? :confuse: ...Althought I was tempted to say 9" :evil

Basket, make me look like a fool huh Tonysan? :furious :L
Ok, let me rephrase my question as intelligently as I can
1. My charger is Hyperion 5idp.
2. The menu shows for DISCHARGE, max value I can use is 1.00A. There is also a voltage value which I dont know what value I should use for discharge.

Oh, how 'long' doesn't really matter right? Its how effective the 'charger' is right? :evil
Anyway just want to know how long I should discharge my nicads.
And also at what amps should I charge my nicads at.
