        Goosh...

have a good rest man...electric planes and helis are more dangerous in this respect. particularly If you are on PPM (fm), things might just come alive for no reason... Installing propellers and rotor blades last is a good idea when setting up a new system.

        take care.

This reminds me of one of the korean/USA ESC that I have bought.
The flow chart on the manual (included in the package) misses a step. As a result, it spins up without notice. The fortunate part with my incident is that it wasn't carbon blades.

I guess I was too pampered by other brands of ESC which do not engage the throttle till you off and on the ESC to save the setting. Now, I take out the wire just to be doubkly sure.

Hey man, good to hear that you are ok, have a good rest!

Just to share...I thought just disconnecting one of the 3wires of the motor was enough, but apparently I was wrong and was shown how instantenous the torque of a electric motor can be Not sure why, but my motor still runs with just 2 wires connected..

When I read your description of how you felt when you got cut, it brought back memories of something that happened to me many years ago. I was using a paper cutter to cut something, applying a bit of force in the cutting direction, when the cutter slipped off the object I was cutting and went right through the thumb on the hand that was holding the object being cut. Like you, I was alone and blood was spewing out of the cut which left the flesh on my thumb hanging in 2 flaps. I was just walking (staggering in a daze, actually) all over with drops of blood pouring all over the floor. Fortunately, I managed to make the blood flow stop after some time. The scar on my thumb will always remind me to be careful when using a paper cutter.

What I would like to advise is, when anyone uses a paper cutter, be sure no part of your anatomy (hands and especially thighs) is anywhere near the extended path of where the paper cutter might go if it should ever slip off the object you are cutting.

Here's wishing you a speedy and safe recovery, mh3400.
