bolt & nut material

Can any one inform what material the nuts & bolts on micro heli are made from?

Would aluminum material make a good replacement for the nuts.

The stock bolts & nuts are mainly hardened steel or stainless steel.

Those after market ones in various colour are made of aluminium because they need to be sent for anodizing to achieve those colour setting.
