There will be a localized 3DX Singapore on 21st - 22nd of June 2008 organised at BBAFC from 11am - 6pm on both days.
Everyone are welcome to spectate in this hot competition!
There will also be :
- Aeromodelling clinics
- Flying demonstration
- Fun flying
- Products display
- Lucky Draw
Details of Competition
There will be two rounds in this competition. Set Maneuvers round and Freestyle round. There will be two categories for the competition. A and B.
Set Maneuvers Round
Entrants are to choose 5 Set Maneuvers. The set maneuvers can be refer at www.3dx.eu.com/setManoeuvres.htm
Entrants can choose 2 categories of the competition, A or B.
For category A participants, they are to choose 5 set maneuvers that sums up to a K factor score ranging from 5 to 8.
For category B participants, they are to choose 5 set maneuvers that sums up to a K factor score ranging from 8.5 to 14.5.
Those who have participated in 3DX Singapore 2007 are to choose category B !
For example, if pilot A chooses 5 maneuvers (all K=1) and his score is 10,8,8,7,8.
Then his overall score is 41.
If pilot B chooses 5 maneuver (K=1,1,1,1,2) and his score is 10,8,8,6,3x2.
Then his overall score is 38.
Thus, you can maximize your score with a higher K score.
Freestyle Round
Entrants are given 3 minutes to do their 3D sequence. They will be judged based on the flow of the maneuvers and creativity.
Registrations are due on 30th May 2008. Please follow these following steps to register :
1. Log in to http://www.bbafc.org
2. Click on the 3DX 2008 Registration
3. Fill in the details.
4. A confirmation email will be send to the participant
5. The site will also show the registration progress by displaying the registrant name and the number of participants.
