Crystal for Futaba system

Ok need help on Rx crystal. I am on 40 mHz and looking for Rx crystal that work with my pre owned Futaba Tx. How can I tell the crystal needed is single or double conversion. Which manufacturer's Rx crystal is able to work with Futaba Tx and Rx? Last but not least where to get them , except chan and SHS.

U have to refer to your RX to see whether is it a single conversion or dual. U can get from SHS. If u can find the correct frequency for Hitec, u can use it as well. I recommend u bring your TX and RX to test see whether can work or not before u buy.

Just remember....anything related to Futaba, they dun like 40.xx5Mhz crystals.
Hitec do have some 40.xx0Mhz dual conversion crystals available for futaba users to use with the electron6 rx.

OK just want to learn some electronic.....what is the diff between single and double conversion
