    Slope Season 2007

    Fellow slopers

    2007 Season is finally here.
For some hard core slopes, we had some nice wind yesterday. According to windguru we should have some nice wind this weekend.
So you know what to do, start dusting the dust off your gliders and charge your batteries.

Just a reminder, no EP on the slope.

Yo bro, this is my 2nd glider season as a flyer. Miss mine last year. Any recommendation which will be a good glider for beginner?

Do you have slope flying experience?
If you do, there's a lot of gliders in the market, it all depend on how deep your pocket.
If you are starting out for the first time, get a foam glider. Few I can recommend are the Multiplex EasyGlider or the flying wing. My personal favourite is the flying wing for Jethobby. It very tough, cheap and very zippy.
Although it is made for push prop, do away with the motor, plug in 2 servos, Rx and battery pack and you off.
Meet us up on Bedok Slope and we can chat.
          Remember no EP on slope.

            Hi Bro,

I am new to RC planes, even no knowledge on Glider. May i know what does it means by no EP on slope? Does that means we can't fly powered glider there?

Yes that exactly it. No powered glider.
We have made an agreement with the National Park Board that if we want to continue flying there, we are not to use any form of propulsion. They are concern for the safety of the other park users.

Actually no power glider more dangerous leh, it might be crashing into people becuz we cant use power to avoid it. I mean just my point, dunno how does a glider fly as i never flown one before.

I agree with you. I don't make the rules. It the NPB concern due to spinning prop.
