Ok guys, i know it'll be too early for me to join this thread..
But i hope this thread helps us to network better.

Purpose of this thread is to introduce your "line" (speciality, job, etc).
I think tis will be very useful in the future if anyone needs help in any
area or any services, and we can turn to this thread!
So maybe the format of the post can be something like

Name:
Job Speciality/Dept:
Company and/or URL:

Eg, I know Mike is in the CNC/Precision Machinery field.
Lance is in Pro photograpy. Loyn is with HP but dunno wat dept.
JYHeli is with Cisco Networking, Nic is with a IT firm.
And many many others!

I'm still getting my Computer Engineering Degree..
So would be more than happy to meet pple in the IT line to give me career advice!
Or even better if u have/are in an IT firm that does internship as i'm going
for my industrial attachment next sem!!

I am Avionics enginner, working on helicopter

so i can explain how heli works, angle of attach, etc....

but how to fly RC heli well, dun look for me... i only theory good... practical sigh...

I'm a Marine Technical Officer. Currently with an offshore company.

Served in the Navy for 6yrs, 5yrs out of the 6yrs I'm onboard the vessel. Really hands on job man. Saw different types of military heli during our Heli Ops with other countries. The Super Puma, US sea king, french heli, Aussise heli, etc.... The worst was the Indian Heli, it was those damn olden type heli. Cannot believe its still in use!!!

Still cant forget abt the big rotor wash from the helis. Mostly seawater!!! Yucks!!! But the french heli was the best, there was no seawater washing onto our face. It was great cooling wind!!!

But I not interested in RC Boats leh. Prefer RC Heli.






P.S : Helo Ops is where there is a transfer of items from ship to heli or from heli to ship but the heli never land on the deck of the ship.

Nay.. I am not in a IT firm...
I am in a manufacturing firm... that deals with professional sound equipment......... (mixers, speakers, electric guitars etc)

I am just a small fly taking care of Data, voice and video networking within the firm.

I’m in fire protection trade (not fireman la) just a tiny little contractor dealing with fire protection system for commercial and industrial premises. Thing I do not related to this RC hobby too.

Before I came into this fire trade I’ve served 16 long years in the RSAF Heli sqn as a Airframe trademan . Type of heli served; Bell UH-1B, UH-1D,UH-1H, 212 and AS350,those were the colorful day of my life as we've traveled to various country in our own RSAF heli.to the jungle in Brunei, Thailand Cambodia southern France. And clouded city in Taipei, Bangkok...

Getting old already,Like to talk about those good old day...

Did u know a few batches ago, Walter came to BMTC to do a heli demo during Games Day. All kind of acrobatics man !! That was so cool. I think he have a medal of appreciation that BMTC gave to him in the shop. Ask him about it.

I also do SG web/email/domain hosting. This one not really to make money but to provide cheap services, just hope to make enough to cover monthly cost.
