Can this metal gear be made with a lathe and mill machine?

Just curious. Can this metal gear be duplicate? Size is about 1cm. If you are given this for sample can it be curn out from a lathe and mill machine? I'm asking just to find out if it can be made. Any info is most welcome. A search was done by my maintenance guys... they could not find this gear in any shop. This gear is used to control the chill water supply to our Pre Cooling Unit (BIG AIRCON). It is worn out and need replacement. <br> <br>

yes, a mill + lathe and some tools for gear cutting can make out this gear.

My best bet is for you to bring this sample to machine shop and pay them whatever price they quote and solve it Nowadays, we had to beg ppl to make things for us even though we pay them to do it

Hi Mike. Thanks for the info. Just want to make sure that it can be done and not purchase from any hardware store. Was told that it cost $60 to do a replicate... well not 100% exactly the same but has the required dimension and lenght.
