    CA glue

Well.. I have never used CA glue before...

Got a new bottle. Used a scissor to snip off the head.
Spilled glue all over the scissor blades in the process.

Looking at the fluid nature, I didn't clean up the mess, and left the scissor on the ledge while I work my heli.

2 minutes later, when I pick up the scissor, it is stuck at a semi open position... I can't open or close it anymore. Now I need a new pair of scissors at home.

Lesson learned.. .don't jude a glue by its look.

Try emerging the sisscor in hot water, might help to de-bond the glue. Alternatively, there is a glue remover available in those DIY shop but I am not sure if it can salvage yr sisscor

Remember to make sure you let the CA in upright position after using, that prevet it from harden and clogging....

alternatively you can burn the CA off with a lighter....and the best storage for CAs is in a fridge....that'll last you a long time....

What I do is to buy from those $2 shops...2 tubes for $2 and it won;t be so costly if it dries up

              Oh...

Too late. Most already came off after 1 day.

The bottle I bought from Chan has no instructions.

Actually i used thinner to remove CA..
But not too much coz they are not really skin frenly!!

                        It actually dissolves the CA..
Or u can use Acetone too! (Nail Polish remover)

Of coz if u're rich enuff, u can get those CA debonder
                        or specialised CA dissolving liquids..

Lucky it's ur scissors that got stuck by CA
and not ur hands or fingers!!
Else i really dunno how u gonna post in the future..

Also, NEVER spill CA over ur shorts/pants....

to think about it, do you think diy CA like elephants or the other cheaper brand are good enuff for the job? some bottle just dun have a good seal system and after long storage i get a hardened cap sealed to the tip.
