Any recommend for Scroll Saw machine

I am planning to use some thick acrylic plastic sheet to build structure of CNC robotic machine. Therefore I would like to get a benchtop scroll saw machine to help me cut out some shapes on the plastic.

I would like to know does anyone know where can I get a hobby scroll saw machine locally? I have search through the web and most popular brands like Dremel, Proxxon or Craftman are from US. Is there any shops that sell such equipment locally? Thanks

yeah, dremel had one, but guess if you want loca voltage, it will need a long time to indent.

I remember seeing something like this at Art Friend or Hobbyshack, cant remember exactly. Maybe you will be able to have some luck posting at market place.

Hand held dremel + a stand might meet your requirement

If you can provide some details or size, maybe some home machinist can do it for you for a fee

    Cheers

    Mike

      Scroll Saw Help!!

      Hi,

I want to raise 2 issues here.

      A) Try other search engines
Many of you brothers don't know where to look for things - instead of just yahoo or google it - try this - http://www.thegreenbook.com/
look for scroll saw - will find these 2 vendors - try this vendor
Hup Hong Machinery (S) Pte Ltd
      101, Kitchener Rd
      #01-12/14, Jln Besar Plaza
      Singapore 208511
my school buys workshop equipment from them.

      B) if you need to cut small pieces and such, and you want to provide your own acrylic, can contact me, and I can try to arrange to open my school's workshop in the afternoon or worse case Sat morning for use. Best case is the coming Sept school holiday can come during the day and no student to disturb you.
