    First test on bobcad cam

Yeah, simple design can do on almost any cad cam software.

Size is around 100 x 50mm. 2.5D tho but would want to try out w sherline 2010-CNC model.

The challenging part, how to mount

I intend to machine off a 6mm thickness block hold down w clamp. Cut the depth to a max of 5.9mm leaving a 0.1mm thickness holding on to the border.

Upon finish cutting all details, flip over, clamp the finish part face down w a vise and machine off 0.1mm. Hopefully it works

    Cheers

Will try with delrin then alu tomorrow.

Very light pass of 0.5mm. Pocketing max at 3mm point, same pass of 0.5mm.

      Simulated 1hr 20mins

Motor is by Sherline minebea stepper 135oz/in - pretty noisey IMO

Plunge rate at F20 and Feedrate F100

i think the motor is capable of much faster speed for 0.5mm wood
