Just noticed, there is a sign board by HDB "NO FLYING OF REMOTE CONTROLLED PLANES" at the next field of PFW which we're normally flying.
Does it means, we can't fly at PFW

Thank you for this notification. We are well aware of this signage already and looking into resolving this matter.
Meanwhile, its good to take a break during this period and spend time on our usual Sat/Sun mornings/evenings with our family and kids,girlfriend...fly kites for a change, or bring them to the wet market to buy fresh meat man..i.e. Hougang market behind Heartland Mall is best!
Don't worry bro...take this positively and do not panic.
The passion in RC, I'm sure will overcomes obstacles.
Here are more clearer pics to share!
Admire the signage bro. Its a beauty don't you think!
Wow...it actually says "No Flying of Radio Controlled Planes",
there's also another sign saying"No Ball Games" .....
Cool!
Is it only for the left side field? How about the right side field where there is no sign or the small field behind the "restricted site".
It says state land - so I guess cannot land and takeoff from that piece of grass patch. But flying in the air can? Do you think any authority in charge of the airspace will use a blimp to say no flying in this airspace?

Yes this signboard is indeed a work of art. Look at the good blend of greens and the white words stands out from the green sign and color of the grass in the background. The HDB logo also looks very prominent there - but it could have been a tat larger to allow better street presence.
Looking forward - a suggestion for improvement. Attach blinking LEDs to the sign and have it face the road. Then can ensure that the message is adhered to at night - also gels with the national day theme if the LEDs are in red and white.
Sure - compliance is my middle name. I encourage all to do so.
John - can check whether control line planes can???? If cannot then I make the plane in the shape of a duck? hee hee - eventually sign (with blinking LEDs) will read "No holding, seeing or thinking of foam, balsa pieces, strings or its replacement forms in both synthetic and organic materials are allowed. This includes but not limited to flying objects, crawling objects, manned or unmanned, physical or virtual items. We may change the intent of this sign to reflect our other intentions which may change from time to time"
I feel very annoyed by our stupid HDB. I wonder - is it because someone complained? Our planes and helis have not damaged anything and the field is so big!
I just started in this hobby!
Anyway the air space doesn't belong to them!
Do you know that;
The road, the pavement, and the field are all covered by different stat boards?
*Ranting*
They can't fault me for flying a plastic propellor driven piece of plastic. Maybe I'll go woodlands beside sports school to fly now.
