Sorry, wasnt sure on this model. However, base on my last discussion w Walter @ rotor, if you choose to buy the Hitec Eclipse, you can request for swapping the servo to HS-55/HS-50 and also the rx to Hitec electron for electric application. Some topping up might be required. They don sell the tx alone tho.

Hi chris. Not to worry, there comes the first step for most modellers when they upgrade there transmitters. Just to inform you about the hitec optic 6. Although it may look abit cartoonish, trust me, its a good deal. My friend, fire , just bought this Tx not too long ago. For what you are getting, its very worth the buy. It comes with the tx with rechargeble batt, 4 servos, rx batt, MODULE!!!!, and the best part for the price is the PCM rx.! yes! PCM.. and the modulised Tx is another hit for the price. Trust me, its a good Tx.

Dont be like some of us who go for bling bling( no offense) . Being a fellow modeller, the optic 6 is a good buy. Dont worry, i am not working for rotor hobby.

If u can spend a bit more, go for those with dot matrix type of LCD display. (Those graphical display). Those with graphics X-Y graph is better for beginner to play around the Throttle and Pitch Curve.
