    S-bec

    Simple S-BEC using 5V regulator.
    Max output 1 amp.
Connnect 2 in parallel for 2 amps.

    $3.50 each from SLT

    Thanks

eh, can give more explanation? This is real interesting sial..... $5 for SBEC compared to $77 for SBEC from AC world.... Please say , i believe, Phiber and the REXIES would like to hear as well....

Just using LM7805 voltage regulator. Each regulator can produce up to 1Amp with proper cooling. To double or triple the O/P current, u connect in parallel.

U need at least 2 capacitor (1 for i/p while 1 for o/p) to prevent voltage oscillating.

Wah.. ur post very the short and sweet..
Can detail abit?? heh.. got schematics?

Actually u can use a cheap brushed ESC as a BEC also..

            Hi almtmd

Is the BEC u mentioned same as those mentioned by Super Hornet?

              Yes, they are the same.
I saw the circuits for BL ESC.
The BL ESC circuit uses PIC chip. Complicated??
Just look at the BEC portion.

To use the S-BEC, you need to disable the ESC BEC.
Some ESC can be set with BEC Disabled.
Else just remove RED wire of the ESC before connecting to your RX.

Don't know how to insert image for the circuit.

              Thanks

FYI. If you using 7805 voltage regulator. its will not output 5V. the output voltage accuracy is from 4.85-5.10v.

u'll need to have the image on your computer and use the 'attach file' funcion under the reply screen.
