    Single Conversion Hitec Crystal

Guys... anyone knows where to get single conversion crystal for Hitec? I didn't notice the receiver I got from rotor 2 weeks back was a single conversion Rx... my spare crystals are all double conversion.

I am at 72.xxx outside the range that rotor carries...

Electron is dual conversion. That's what I use.

but I got this HFS5 (or whatever.. can't remember the code)... that's single conversion. My spare crystals are all dual conversion... I just didn't notice the receiver I got was single until 2 weeks later...

You sure the berg can use? Is it the full size version or the mirco version... on a/c world, it say the full size version is for JR...
      huh

It's strange that u should mention this. I found that they WERE carrying 72MhZ for Hitec radio and Rx b4 they moved.....

          Yes.. there are still carrying.
No.. they do not carry the complete range of frequency. (no all channels).

It is mentioned on their web site.
          huh

You can go and cut your own Xtl pair.
I used to go to "Raccon Singapore" in Toa Payoh Factory.
They can cut to any frequency. Best is to give them sample.

Not sure if the company still there.

                        One pair S$25.00

If you can find them, update us on their new address.

                        Good Luck

                        Thanks

I tried plugging my SC crystal from BERG 5*DSP II 72 MHz FM Mini Receiver into my Hitec HFS05MG... it didn't work..

BERG site says their crsytal usable for JR and BERG only..

Now my Hitec receiver still sits at home without a crystal...
                              huh
