need some small machinning job to be done....small..very small...

problem is my baby's mechanical rocker gear box brass bushing has worn out and causing it to be no longer able to rock..


hope those bros with machinning tool can help me...roughly the diameter of the bushing is 20 mm... i am willingly to pay for the part.. but dun charge me too high hor....need about 3 pcs...

for bearing/bushing, if done out of aluminium, it is not so good, as after time, the aluminium will wear very fast as it is "soft" brass is a better material, but brass rod is more difficult to find as most places do not stock them.

Spot on .... thats what I told eleewhm too, bo bian, my side only got Al6061 so told him made one for him to "Tong" first. Hope it can work

Mike i will try to get some brass rod and i send it over to you to make 2 or 3 pcs can boh?...no hurry as now i got the alu part you sent to "tong" first....

overall trial fitting is great...!! only the 5mm dia looks like i mis measured it..looks more like 5.2 or 5.3 mm ....

here is the damaged part.... you can see that the hole is lopsided liao...thus causing the main shaft connected to the drive gear not to mesh properly....
