Built in BEC of BL ESCs..

Anyone enlighten me on the servo limit for the BEC of the CC25??
Coz if i'm gonna get one for my TRex.. I have a few options..

    Align 25A BL ESC + SBEC = abt $140

    or CC25 = $140 also from JetHobby..

    So wat's better choice?

Can the BEC of CC25 still support 4 servos if i go lipo 4s??
Definitely the BEC of the Algin ESC only support 3servo at lipo 3s

    CC esc's won't handle 4 servos with 4S.
Definitely go for the Align and SBEC if you plan on going High Voltage setups.
The Align esc from the reviews is not bad and good price too... tempted leh... how much is their 10A esc if buy from your friend?

YEh.. i'm aware of some of the feedbacks from the forums too!
      That's what keeping me interested!
Seems to be of good quality and even works with ACWorld's diy BL motors..

price for the 10a is $73
      for the 25a is $93

      Do u think it's ok?

Hmm.. for the price it looks to be good on features.
Review seems favourable so far. Only drawback is the software can't be updated. Also i suppose that wonderful CC warranty would be forgone. Don't know how well Align honours their warranty for their electronics.

Their BL motor also seems good so far... interesting design, an outrunner that runs in a can! No need to worry about snagging wires

$73... i think will stick to CC lah... their 10A one can't handle 3 servos on 3s

i think if u add $10 more u can get the 20A one..
Which will handle 3servos on 3s fine...

Anyway, i think i'll go for the 25A one..
Will need u guys help to setup it up!

I dunno about the rest of the ESCs, but for CC, you can disable BEC simply and add a RX batt pack, which would be more recommended, but it adds weight.

Used to disable the BEC for my Eco8 with CC60 ESC and ran a seperate batt pack. Even if batt cutoff, you still have cyclic controls.

But i know got pple use the align esc with sbec..

Where else to get SBEC other than acworld? acworld is so exp!!
Are there cheaper versions of sbec?
