Hi guys,

We'll be moving again.

Tomorrow early morning, 2/12/06 from 1230hrs we will begin our migration into a new server.

This will be time consuming and will probably take at least a few hours.

During the data transfer the forum will not be available and will be offline.

After the transfer the DNS will take sometime for it to be updated and pointed to the new server.

Information and post during this time will NOT be transferred and hence we encourage members not to post from 1230 hrs till further notice.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Please be patient with us as we strive to make this forum a nicer place for all of us.

Sorry , after downing the forum for more then 20hrs, we still face some issue during migration due to large database involved.

We did not complete the migration.

We will keep everyone posted on any new development.

Meanwhile, please continue to use the forum.

I suggest, why not juz keep those postings that were less than 3mths old n archive the rest. Anyway newbie always come in to ask the same old Q.

Also keep those topics starting with : "Build thread". These r more informative.

Me computer idiot ley .... seems to be a difficult task to do. The easiest way is to transfer everything over, anyway disk space will no longer be the main issue.

I was actually thinking we might not need to down the forum. But if we choose not to down the forum, posting done starting from the migration to the end of migration will not be captured ... we are looking at 24hrs posting.

Now still considering ... got to weigh the balance

Its also pretty difficulty for me to come online and see the forum offline
