        Dear Chairman of BBAFC,

        I have few Q abt tis event as I'm a non-member.

        1) Is the electric heli obstacle course competition open to non-members???

        2) Whatz the entry fee for the electric heli obstacle course, apart from the S$2 insurance cover for non-members???

        3) How does one get to be entered into the lucky draw??? Must I enter any competition or presence alone entitles me as a non-member to one???

        4) What does the S$2 insurance covers if I were to crash my heli onto the parked cars???

        5) What skill level is needed to enter the electric heli obstacle course competition??? I can hover tail-in stable only.

        6) Am I allowed to follow my heli as it go thru the course???

        7) Is there any frequency restriction for tis event??? I'm on 35mhz, will the insurance cover tis frequency also???

        8) Watz the max number of ppl allowed for the electric heli obstacle course???

        9) How do I take part in the record setting of helis forming a straight line???

        10) I only have a Trex heli, can I contribute or will I be ignored as its smaller in size compared to bigger electric helis.

        11) Is the Funfly open to non-members too???

        12) If my heli were to crash wif another member's heli during the funfly, does the insurance cover tis too??? If possible, please post the terms n conditions of the insurance coverage here.

Thk u for ur kind patience in going thru my Qs.

P.S Sorry, I'm unable to join BBAFC as a member as I'm residing in the north n its not of my convienience to travel to the west to fly my little Trex heli.

          Dear Chairman of BBAFC,

In addition to Adrianli questions, I have few as well:
          1. According to the rules, it stated that battery voltage should not exceed 15V. Does that mean my TRex uses 4S1P cannot participate?
          2. What about is there any restriction to multibladed helicopter? We are all sort of helicopter modification. Do you allow heli with modification (like elevated tail and etc) to participate?

            1. All events are open to non-members. Non-members only have to pay $2 if they wish to take part in the pylon race or obstacle course. And only $2 even if they take part in both the race and obstacle course.

            2. A copy of the insurance will be put up on the club notice board.

            3. Yes, 4S lipo is acceptable for those electric heli taking part in the obstacle course.

            4. All helicopters, big or small are welcomed to take part in the world record attempt. The objective is numbers, not size.

            5. The organiser will examine every plane and helicopter taking part in the competition. We place importance on air-worthiness and safety.

            6. You are encourage to sign up early so that the organiser can plan the schedule.

            7. Lucky draw is for everyone. The form can be found in the Jamboree magazine. We will also provide the lucky draw forms on 26/11/06 at the flying site. There's another special lucky draw for those who take part in the world record attempt.

            8. You can follow your heli through the obstacle course.

              Thks for ur reply,

However not all Q r answered, esp. my point on the frequency allowed at BBAFC.

Looking forward to taking part in tis event. I do not wana be disappointed when I turn up wif a 35mhz frequency n kena turned away.

              On a side note :

For me, air-worthiness of a heli is determined by the pilot's skill n knowledge. I was inspired by the movie The Indian. He turned up wif a less conventional motorcycle n broke the world record wif it.

One living example I can relate to currently is SH's helis'. Many will laugh of when they look at his heli, esp the syringe as a dampering!!!

No restriction on which frequency but please check in your transmitter with the frequency control officers that day.

Rotor Hobby and PIPS hobby are setting up stalls on that day.

The organiser makes the decision on air-worthiness as this concern the safe conduct of the competition. Thank you for the understanding.

Will there be place for flyers to rest/sit and place their stuffs.
I foresee that the place will be crowded with flyers and spectators.
