Well, on the weekend of 25th -26th Nov, there will a family-oriented carnival held in Newton Life Church from 10am-4pm. There will be lots of food, game stalls, electric arcades, stuff to check out..., prizes to win!!!. !!!!

- We've programs for all across ages from 4-84 ( no I'm not kidding ) there's highlights like the following:

Kid's Zone: Magic show+Cartoon/Movie Screening, Mini-games, Inflatable castle, Fun Maze, face-painting, prizes & gifts to be won!

Youth Zone: Rock-climbing, Harley Davidson Bike Rides, E-Zone arcade ( I'm personally handling this one, any special requests let me know...), Spin-Me-A-SOng-DJ. etc.....

Adults Zone: International food stalls.... all you can eat.... this is not those get together cook for fun pot-luck, we have a food pro manager amassing from various pro vendors; Traditional game stalls.

Senior-Citizens: Chinese Tea Appreciation, Karaoke!

On top of all these: there's a mini-draw for the kids, and a lucky draw for all those above, where you stand to win things like Tv sets, bicycles, handphones....



I'm on the organising board ( actually only to put the arcade together ), and I have the tickets liao.... Each entry coupon is $10, which is actually made up of two $2 and six $1 coupons.... It's gonna be alot of fun, that I'm sure.... Putting up more details in the next post... Kudos to Mike for allowing me to share this here. Last year, me and some friends organised a drive through car-wash, and I forgot to invite some of the friends here to come to support ....

Some details:

1) You will be doing something meaningful and good while enjoying at the carnival because

the purpose of the carnival is to raise funds to build a social-welfare centre that will take care of young kids, provide care, counselling and consultation with regards to family problems,... basically in the end, it will be a 1 stop social welfare centre Since I'm on the committee/board of this carnival, I can tell you first hand that none of the money raised will go to the church.

I can say that I really when I missed one of the earlier mini-children's carnivals when that same food manager was in charge..... was told by a lot of people the food was really good. So try not to miss out on this.... If you buy the ticket and can't come down, then it's even more because of how much u'll be missing...


2) The location of this Carnival is at 16 Newton Road, it's just right before the Newton Ring Road, before u hit Newton Circus Hawker Centre.... (heck our food will be even cheaper than their food)

4) the carnival is on both saturday and sunday, but since it's a church, there's a worship service which starts at 10am and ends at 11.15am. All are welcomed to join us at the worship service, or choose to come after 11.15am

Carnival is on 25th Nov & 26th Nov., but on Sunday it only starts after 11.15pm.


5) The lucky Draw organised is only meant for new friends and not our church members, so your chances of winning will be very high
