Anyone know a good source for Aluminium & Steel rods for lathework and milling ? I tried the shops in the Jalan Besar stadium area. The corner shop (Don't remember the name) seem to be selling aluminium and they only sell in length of 16 feet. They don't cut into smaller lengths.

If you refering to Teck Cheong ... same side of rotor hobby, they do cutting to small length. Their standard length is 16FT and I had no problem asking them to cut to 8 equal pcs. Generally a length of diameter 8mm will cost around $10-12 They do not sell steel rod though.

I just PM'ed you a contact, they sell stainless steel, steel and alu rod in length u need.
