Anyone below the age of 15

hello, i am a 14 year old r/c helicopter flyer. Just wondering who is about the same age as me flying too. I have only two and a half helis as i just started this hobby. I have a feiba 30d and a aerohawk and the half is a cybercopter which i cant seem to get it to fly (cost a bomb).

i'm 17 here, currently in singapore poly together with victor and yong chun. all of us currently fly raptors....victor has a 30 and 50se while yc has a 90std and 90se...meee...i'm fixing up my 30...

during my secondary days i don't even have the money to even "think" of radio control ah. i had to beg my parents for a 2 channel radio and the plane i had was a glider that was given to me as kit by a kind fellow.

HOw do u guys afford hellis?? u guys are really lucky!

i had to work my a$$ off for 2 months before i can even get my focus iii (3-cahnnell) transmitter!! and all i got is a slope epp glider (non-powered) and a gentle lady glider!....they do serve me well though...
Now im just trying to save up enough money to get my a decent transmitter!

since school started i haven't have much time to do any work. instead i skimp what i can on meals. one ttypical day i'll eat about $5 worth of food, the other $5 can save...

i started saving up for my raptor early in sec3, and now i'm in poly year one and have still barely flwon the rappy only.

the problem with this hobby is buying is expensive, but "feeding" the heli is $%^#&...just the amount you will happen to spend on fuel in the future will be able to get you a new heli...not the mention the crashes...so I came to a conculsion that assuming you stop flying for 2years, you can probably save enough money for a r90 with engine and electronics(including a 9c/9x) ....but whats the point of keeping the heli at home right....when you grow older, you will realise that you have to divide your money on so many things...

Actually... a lot of working people with family ended up giving up things/hobbies/etc so that they can have more money for their kids.....

It is not easy to make money.... parents just don't go printing them. But many parents will say "Fmaily come first"...
