Anyone can help me out with some parts?

    Hi guys!

I need help on some links for my Clodbusters. Would any be able to help me do some links?

    The dimensions are as follow:

    1) 140mm (length) x 6mm (diameter), with 3 mm threaded holes on both ends. Material to be aluminium, able to be used as suspension arms. Need 8 pieces.

Please let me know how much you would do these links for.

    Thanks in advance!

      Thanks in advance, Mike!

I might buy the Mill from you at a later date, given that I have no extra funds from my Australia trip.

      Thanks again!

Hi Mike, I am a newbie in this forum and need your guidance.
I want to know if anyone who can help me to enlarge the prop adaptor openings from 2.0mm to 2.3mm. You may ask me why don't buy a new prop adaptor.
Well this prop adaptor is from a 55mm electric ducted Fan from Jet Hobby.
It is unique , could not get any closer match.I probably need a lathe to enlarge the shaft openings for 2.3mm motor.

Any idea who can help. Willing to pay a fee for service. I have two adaptor for modification.
        Appreciate if you can help

        Cheers

          Hi Babylon5,

Sometime back, while we flying easy glider, we had similar problem. We need to enlarge the prop adaptor hole from 3.2mm to 3.5mm.

Hand drill is possible and so far we do not face problem. Of cos lathe is most accurate.

Where do you stay? I can help you hook up one near yr place

Thanks Mike for offering your help.
Infact I really like this Rc group. There so many people offering me help including you when I posted the query.

There are two Rc friends who own lathe so are arranging to help me with the modification.

I stay in Bukit Panjang , Senja Road.
Use to fly at Bukit Batok RC Flying club.

Where do you stay ? Maybe can meet up one of this day and have a cup of coffee.

Here is little of what I do in R/C
I fly EDF plane nowadays. Either I DIY the plane or hack other plane and convert to EDF. Found EDF plane flies better than open prop set up.
Surprising , EDF do not guzzle so much ampere after you hv experiment and found a good match with motor and fan. My first proto flies pretty fast and well at only 11amps on 3 cells Lipo and weights 450grams with steerable landing gear.

The reason for enlarging the prop adaptor is part of a EDF project. The hole has to be balance and true because the shaft is spinning the edf impeller in excess of 30,000rpm

            Cheers and thanks again

                part machining

                Hi Alfie...

I can machine the parts you are looking for if you haven't found anyone yet. Let me know if you are still looking and we'll draw some quick plans up and get moving. Cost will be very reasonable.

You can email me at bender_brad@hotmail.com or contact me through the board. I have a lathe and a mill at my disposal.

                Brad
