If any of you are interested in seeing the real thing up front, I will be the crew on watch duty on the Uniquely Singapore boat at the following times.

        Monday 23 Jan 12-3 pm
        Tuesday 24 Jan 9am-12

It will be berthed at the marina (together with the other 9 clippers) built for the Clipper stopover at Keppel Caribbean show flat. Turn left after Harbour Front and ask for directions to the Caribbean show flats. If you turn into the Caribbean condominium itself, you have overshot.

Will be more than glad to give you a tour of the boat and what it is like to live and sail her in the high seas. The boat is designed by Dubois, its 68 feet long at the waterline and she is the fastest yacht I have ever had the pleasure to sail. Typical of IOR yachts, she is very much oversailed so muscles and sweat is what is needed to drive her along. Below decks, the boat is quite spartan so as to minimise on weight.

We will be leaving for the second half of leg 4 to race to Qing Dao (China) on 27 Jan.
