Finally! 1 year later, i get to see my nemesis heli. Frank, if u're using NimHs 10 cells, if nicads 8 cells....

DUN USE THE STOCK TAIL ROD SNAKE! Get ur self a carbon rod and attach your tail servo on the boom!!!! Only zip-ties, and 3M tape required( file a small flat on the start of the boom! And remember to mount your gyro correctly!!!1 ( Mike ! get the joke?)

It will be cheaper than the Hornet if not for the brushless system. Between we can get the BL systems for the Eco 8 at hobbyshack. But I was told it would probably be a lot cheaper if bought from the US.

Dougie, We gotsta find out the Kv for those motors man. Then get the jeti Esc from HS or CC45 from Aircraft world. STrictly speaking. All stock, The Eco 8 is the only E-heli whose running costs will be lesser than the nitros other than the micro FPs.....

And u dun even need a PG-O3. There was this stunt man who was using micro servos ( HS 50s ) and the RC-MART gyro!!!!!!

how do you work out the Kv ..they give the rev that they can do and the max amperage

eg 5000 rpm and 10a how can you work out the kv from that?

I paid $346 for the heli kit with auto rotation unit.
The Kv of the FEIGAO brushless are 540S-1900Kv and 540L-1340Kv. I might be using the 540S if my current brushless doesn't work very well.
I'll probable be flying at MS at around 4pm but may go to BP instead.
By the way where do you guys fly in BP? I'm not familiar with that place.

just realised the map dun work...can you go to www.can.com.sg and search for segar road????

It's in BP...if you go by BKE just exit bukit panjang...turn right at the second lights and head straight...follow the LRT line and you'll see segar LRT..we're behind the LRT

Sounds to me that it is including shipping For that price, its very attractive. Yeah...glad u got the one way.....u will hear the swu swu swu sound when the one way turing.....cool.......it seems to be a must for that. Did you get the one w alu hub or ikarus one way? I got 2 bad experience w ikarus eco 8 one way.....the one way bearing comes loose easily.... alu one are one time solution. PPl recomend spare main gear for eco 8. It strip easily if u had hard start or hard landing
